Imagine Tooting

A Family Film Project in Tooting
17,18 and 20th February
Make a Film and discover more about your community
You will:

    * Learn about film making and editing skills
    * learn how to get the most out f your community
    * Discover hidden play spaces
    * Make new friends
    * Find out about other activities for you and your family

This workshop is FREE and open to all families living in Tooting with children aged between 8-16 Maximum two adults per children a FREE luch will be provided.

Flash Animation

Monday 27th October
9.30am –12.00 or 1.00-3.30pm
Bring your artistic talents to life! See your drawing skills move and dance across the screen. Animate colourful shapes or draw your own cartoon character. Create a mini animation in a style of your own choosing. This workshop will ignite the enthusiasm for future screen animators and show them the basic skills of cartoon work.

iPhoto Slideshow Film

Monday 27th October
9.30-12.00 or 1pm – 3.30pm
At this session you will have the opportunity to work with a professional photographer, getting advice on how to improve your photography skills. You will compile your images into an entertaining slideshow with a soundtrack of your choosing. You will organise and enhance your still photos into a film that retells your holiday, family visit or wedding that can be viewed as a DVD on your television! Please bring along your photos in an electronic format.

iMovie Film

Friday 31st October
9.30-12.00 or 1pm –3.30pm
Do you see yourself working in Hollywood making the next big money movie blockbuster? To get the skills you need you must attend our iMovie Film Academy taster session. You will learn the basics of how to plan, organise and shoot a short film. You will develop camera and editing skills using the latest movie technology. See your ideas beamed up onto the silver screen....next stop the film festival at Cannes?

Stop Frame Animation

Friday 31st October
9.30-3.30pm
Can you create the next animation masterpiece? Do you want to create your own characters and storyboards and make them come to life? As part of this course you will retell a story of your own choosing. You will produce a computer generated animation and narrate your story for all to see! This course will help you to build up your computer skills using the latest media equipment.

Make a Pop Video

Monday 27th October
9.30 – 3.30pm
During this programme you will learn both film and music production techniques. You will generate an exciting backdrop for a selected piece of music of your choice. You will create, and source, engaging moving images to support a pop song or piece of music to wow audiences! You could even perform and star in front of your visuals to create an MTV style music video!

Refreshments will be provided.
