Social Enterprise Challenge : Videos : Paws for Thought
During the summer term parents and business mentors visited Graveney School for a whole day social enterprise project. The adults worked with very eager and enthusiastic Year 9 students from Graveney School on a challenge that had been set by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. In each group parents and business mentors helped, prompted and worked together using enterprise skills to create a new animal rescue centre. Maths, geography and loads of creativity, plus negotiation skills, where used to learn about charities and volunteering.
