During the summer holidays young people and their families as part of the summer university programme, had the opportunity to take part in a music and video masterclass with Akala from Illastate records.
The young people learnt studio and recording skills as well as the importance of positive lyrics. The workshops were held at Catch 22 in Roehampton and the young people were able to perform the tracks that they had made live on stage as part of the ’Let the Music Speak Festival’.
