The Family Film Making Workshops were taught at Wandsworth CLC over a two month period.
Families initially learnt filming techniques, how to use a camera and how to make short films. They were then given cameras to take away and to film footage in their own time around the theme ’life in London’.
Participants then came back to the CLC to be taught how to edit their films including adding sound effects.
One of the comments from a parent who attended the course was
’It was a fabulous opportunity to work closely with my child and I learnt how to listen to his ideas and to compromise with him over decisions’.
Further workshops are planned throughout the year.
